The Art House curriculum was developed by Cherene Raphael.
She has a CA teachers credential in Fine Art and English + over
45 years of teaching and curriculum designing experience.
Lessons are hands - on. Students start from the blank page and are given the tools needed to create composition, color and mood decisions. They are not asked to simply re-create an image.
Students work with a full range of wet and dry mediums on a variety
of surfaces, sizes and textures.
CURRICULUM
Consistency.
Students attend classes 1 hour every week. Regular attendance and consistency is key. Students get to know their peers and the teacher gets to know your childs strengths and learning style.
The Real Deal.
Students work with all materials, subjects and styles. No copying here. We don’t use computers. We master drawing/painting/design skills.
